Peace & Global Witness Offering
Blessed are the peacemakers

The Peace & Global Witness Offering is received during the Season of Peace, which ends on World Communion Sunday. Individual congregations are encouraged to utilize a large portion of this offering to sustain their local peacemaking ministries.

Although the offering is traditionally received on World Communion Sunday, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the Peace & Global Witness Offering by making an online gift during the Season of Peace or at any time throughout the year.

Pentecost Offering
Investing in our greatest resource

Your generous gifts to this Offering enable the PC(USA) to encourage, develop and support it’s young people, as well as provide assistance to at-risk children. In addition, a large portion of this offering can be kept by individual congregations for use in their own communities.

The Pentecost Offering is traditionally received on the day of Pentecost. It provides a direct way to meet the needs of children at risk, youth, and young adults. Congregations are encouraged to keep 40 percent of the Offering to support ministries benefiting these age groups in their communities.

One Great Hour of Sharing
Sharing resources, changing lives

Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with people experiencing need. Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives and work together to strengthen their families and communities.

The Presbyterian Hunger Program receives 36 percent of undesignated One Great Hour of Sharing gifts, while the Self-Development of People and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance each receive 32 percent.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
Focusing on the long term recovery of disaster impacted communities

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance enables congregations and mission partners of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crisis and catastrophic events.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is the emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A). The core budget, including staff and administrative costs, is funded through the One Great Hour of Sharing, and its program work is additionally funded through designated gifts.

Christmas Joy Offering
Giving back to those who have given so much

Whether providing financial assistance to current and former church workers and their families or enabling deserving students to attend Presbyterian-related racial ethnic colleges and schools, your generous gifts to the Christmas Joy Offering will bring Good News of Great Joy to the poor in circumstance or spirit.

The Christmas Joy Offering is traditionally received during the Advent Season.  However, you can help sustain the important PC(USA) ministries and programs that are supported by the Christmas Joy Offering by making an online gift at any time throughout the year.
