R. Winston Presnall, Pastor
Pastor R. Winston Presnall has been the Head of Staff at FPCO for 14 years after serving pastorates in Illinois, Texas, and New Mexico. He graduated with his Masters of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary. Pastor Winston serves on the Committee on Ministry of the Presbytery of Los Ranchos, is a member of the steering committee for Progressive Christians Uniting, active in social justice ministries, an organizer of the Sunday Night Together dinner for the hungry. Rev. Leanne Strommen, Dir. of Children, Youth & Family Ministries
Leanne oversees our Children’s and Family programs and is a Southern California native, raised in south Orange County. She is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters in Divinity. Leanne has worked in Christian Education at churches in Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Laguna Hills and Ladera Ranch. Her passion is to help even the youngest of God’s children understand that they are an important part of the Body of Christ. It is her hope to partner with families to give children and youth a solid foundation in Jesus Christ, beginning their life long journey of faith. Caitlin Giusta, Director of Music
Caitlin earned her B.M. degree in Music Education from the University of Redlands in 2010. During her four years at the U of R she had the opportunity to study music pedagogy and the Kodaly Method at the Kodaly Institute in Kesckemet, Hungary. Concurrently, she earned her teaching credential from the School of Education. After teaching elementary music in East Palo Alto, CA and high school choir at Citrus Hill High School in Perris, CA, she has found her home teaching middle school at Ramona Middle School in La Verne, CA. Caitlin is currently working on her Masters in Music in Chorale Conducting at California State University, Los Angeles. She continues to perform with various ensembles in Southern California including: Riverside Master Chorale, Vox Femina Los Angeles and currently with Pacific Chorale. Lynn Winn, Business Secretary
Lynn joined our staff in September 1999. Her primary duties as Business Secretary include accounts payable and receivable, preparation of financial statements, accounting of contributions, payroll, insurance and a variety of other duties! James Keniston, Director of Communications
James joined our staff in 2013 and is responsible for church communications such as emails, bulletins, newsletters, and signage on campus as well as various other administrative and operational tasks. He has a bachelors degree in fine art and has worked previously with artists, galleries and in retail providing logistical and administrative support. He has also worked as a museum guide. James is originally from London, England and is also an artist & illustrator. His interests include cycling, travel, cooking and playing the banjo. Sarah Tannas, Junior High Ministries – Youth Leader
Sarah is responsible for many of the activities that we provide for our youth on Tuesdays. She is a native of Orange, CA. and has a background in visual communications and advertising. She has a huge heart for middle schoolers and is excited to see what God has planned for the future of the church and its youth! Her goal is to provide a safe, fun and creative environment where middle schoolers can learn about the gospel, their special God given gifts and abilities and have the opportunity to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Bruce Scott – Facilities Manager
Bruce’s duties include overseeing the maintenance and repairs on both the church and Grand Street Center property. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a member of our church for 35 years, participating in the music and youth ministry programs and as an elder on Session. Teresa Bernal – Director of Childcare, Orange Presbyterian Pre-School
Teresa is the Director of Childcare at the Orange Presbyterian Preschool. She is a fully qualified preschool teacher under the educational requirements of the State of California Title 22. Teresa has worked in the Child Care field for 20 years and has been working at OPPS for 4 years. She is certified in CPR and First Aid. She says: “I love working with children and being a Pre-K teacher is my chosen career. In my spare time I like to go to Angel games, go on weekend getaways, to Disneyland, and spend as much time with my family and friends as I can.” Favorite quote: “A person is a person no matter how small” – Dr. Seuss. Nancy Tsai – Organist / Accompanist
Nancy Tsai received a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree in piano performance from Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. She studied piano with the Music Department Chair, Dr. Angela Willoughby and held a graduate assistantship in teaching and accompanying. Nancy began her piano journey at the age of 5 under her mother’s instruction, who also graduated with a piano performance degree and became a certified Yamaha piano instructor and the owner of the England Royal Conservatory of Music in Nantou, Taiwan. While growing up, Nancy also followed the guidance of Dr. Hui-Qing Yan, the first person from Taiwan who achieved the highest teaching honor in the International Yamaha Music System. In a short period of time, she progressed quickly and achieved the teaching level certification at the age of 10, and throughout her childhood she won many 1st place prizes in local and international competitions. The experience gained from playing piano as a soloist, accompanist, as well as in ensembles and bands has shaped her into being a mature and highly developed pianist. She is passionate about contributing her love and knowledge of music to the next generation. Nancy loves to interact with children and learn about them while teaching the piano.
